  10. I have been looking at the linking recipes in the ODF draft 
  11. reference, and I am perplexed at the complexity of it all. 
  12. What has me curious is that their seems to be a lot of 
  13. code, such as persistance for the link objects themselves, 
  14. that would be the same for all parts. Why is this code not 
  15. part of the base class, rather than burdening the 
  16. programmer to put it in his subclass? I don't mean to be 
  17. critical here, but it just seems overly complicated. Is 
  18. this area something that will be simplified in future 
  19. versions of ODF?
