- I have been looking at the linking recipes in the ODF draft
- reference, and I am perplexed at the complexity of it all.
- What has me curious is that their seems to be a lot of
- code, such as persistance for the link objects themselves,
- that would be the same for all parts. Why is this code not
- part of the base class, rather than burdening the
- programmer to put it in his subclass? I don't mean to be
- critical here, but it just seems overly complicated. Is
- this area something that will be simplified in future
- versions of ODF?
